Online Tai Chi and Qigong Classes During Covid-19
All in-person Just Breathe Online Tai Chi and Qigong classes are being held live online weekly using Zoom for the time being. You can also subscribe to our on-demand video programs and take classes on your own schedule, at your own pace. Just Breathe Tai Chi and Qigong classes in Fairfax Virginia will resume when it is comfortable for all students. Plus, online classes are here to stay too!
Classes are taught step-by-step with detailed instruction and guided repetitions with an emphasis on relaxation, stress reduction, and increasing health, balance, and flexibility.
Modifications are discussed for physical considerations. The goal is to relax, have fun, and increase and maintain health. We do this by using breathing and gentle, energetic movements.
The health benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong have been acknowledged by major scientific and medical studies such as Harvard Medical School and Mayo Clinic. The practitioner does not have to be an expert. Almost anyone can learn to practice Qigong and Tai Chi to maintain and improve his or her own health.
