About Tai Chi
Tai Chi is known as moving meditation—using a series of gentle movements and deepened breathing that creates harmony between the mind and body.
In this class, you will learn basic Tai Chi movements that you can practice any day, any time, everywhere! All experience levels are welcome and can benefit from Tai Chi.
Classes are taught with an emphasis on relaxation and increasing balance and flexibility. Modifications are available for physical considerations. The goal is to relax, have fun, and increase and maintain health. We do this by focusing on breathing and the gentle movements of Tai Chi.

Frequently Asked Tai Chi and Qigong Questions
What if I want to join a class but the session has already started?
New sessions begin January, May, and September. If you wish to join the class mid-session, you absolutely may.
You will need to keep in mind that the class is linear, and you will have missed the intricate step-by-step details of the movements we have learned thus far—but you will get those during the next session.
Please send me a message using the Questions and Comments Form noting the class you would like to attend and you will be sent additional information.
How Do I Pay?
Payments are easy: online using Zelle, or snail-mail a personal check. See full details upon registration.
Where do I find class descriptions and registration?
After you have familiarized yourself with the Class Details, Please use the Registration Form to register for the class(es) you have chosen. If you need class locations, session dates, times etc. please visit the Classes/Events page.
Are classes recorded for future viewing?
Our live Tai Chi classes online and live Qigong online classes will be recorded. Each class will be available for unlimited viewing on a weekly basis. Links and passwords will be sent once registration is complete.
In-person classes are not recorded. However, all live session students (in-person and online) receive a discount for the on-demand subscription classes. These classes are compilations of previously recorded classes teaching the same movements you are learning.
How are you building community online during Covid-19?
Our live Tai Chi classes online and live Qigong online classes are using Zoom to successfully create community and a dynamic class environment. Once you complete your registration for live online classes, you will be sent a link with Zoom instructions for optimum experience.
What is video-on-demand?
Tai Chi and Qigong Video-on-demand online classes are compilations of previously recorded live online classes.
Watch each lesson as many times as you like. You won’t need to download any software, have a webcam, or figure out any complicated technology. Just create a user profile and start watching on your own schedule, in total privacy, and at your own pace. See the On-Demand page for full details and class listing.
